Overview:

The Lancaster Central School District is seeking an energetic and innovative individual who will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating the continued improvement and development of the 7-12 curriculum, instruction, pupil personnel services, and assessment program.

Core Responsibilities:

• Plans, leads, coordinates, and participates in all matters related to curriculum, instruction, assessment, and data analysis as it pertains to student learning & achievement related to the LCSD Comprehensive District Education Plan (CDEP).
• Oversee and assist in the recruitment, screening, hiring, and maintaining personnel at the secondary level.
• Serves on various district committees to steward the vision focused on continuous improvement.
• Keeps informed on the latest research, trends, and developments in teaching & student learning/achievement; uses this information constructively for improvements to the academic process.
• Serves as one of the District’s Title IX Officers.
• Supervise and evaluate the secondary school principals along with the Re-Engagement Center and Alternative Education Coordinators.
• Conducts other duties as assigned by the Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendent.
