Certified Bldg. Based Teacher Subs Grades K-6

The Lancaster Central School District is looking for certified building based substitute teachers for grades K-6.  Must be certified.

Building-based subs are compensated at the rate of $185.00 per day.

Substitute Registered Professional Nurse 2025-2026 School Year

Provides assessment, screening, planning, intervention, evaluation, counseling, management, and/or referrals related to the health and medical care needs of students. The goal is to minimize absences due to illness, maximize educational opportunities, and contribute to a healthy school climate. Performs other related duties as assigned.

$28.00 per hour
Substitute Teacher Aides 2025/2026 School Year

Supervises students and performs such other services as support teaching duties when such services are determined and supervised by teachers, may supervise students in workplace settings and assist with job skills development.

$17.20 per hour
Substitute Food Service Helper 2025/2026 School Year

Assists in the preparation and serving of food, cleans kitchen equipment, and performs related duties as required.

Substitute Teachers 2025-2026 School Year

The Lancaster Central School District is looking for substitute teachers for all grade levels across our seven schools.  A Bachelor's degree is required.

Regular subs are compensated at the rate of $160.00 per day.

Building-based subs are compensated at the rate of $185.00 per day.

Interim Substitutes – All Teaching Areas (2025–2026 School Year)

This is a blanket posting to cover any leaves of absence during the 2025–2026 school year.

If/when the teacher goes to a without-pay status, the sub will become an interim sub and will be paid per LCTA agreement as applicable, i.e. step 1 master’s degree = $55,300 prorated - step 8 masters' level = $58,750 prorated with full benefits.
