This position is responsible for scheduling, supervising, and evaluating employees and participating in the cleaning and maintenance activities of a school building. Supervision is exercised over a number of employees engaged in various custodial and cleaning activities. Performs related work as required.

This position involves responsibility for the cleaning, care, and upkeep of a school site, building, or an assigned section thereof within a suburban school district.

Performs routine manual tasks in the care and cleaning of buildings.
