The Lancaster Central School District is seeking innovative, enthusiastic, and hardworking individuals to serve as long-term substitute Special Education teachers. We are interested in candidates who have the ability to work effectively with all students while collaborating with administration, faculty, and staff to enhance instructional programming and, most importantly, support the success of our students.
Tentative Assignment Dates:
• September 18, 2026 – January 31, 2027 LHS
• September 8, 2026 – June 25, 2027 LMS
If/when the teacher transitions to a without-pay status, the substitute will become an interim substitute and will be compensated according to the LCTA agreement, as applicable (e.g., Step 1 Master’s Degree = $55,300 prorated to Step 8 Master’s = $58,750 prorated, with full benefits). *2025/26 rates
