Job Description

Special Ed. Summer School Teachers (2)  9-12 hrs/week POSTING #17a

Effective Date: 7/6/26 – 7/30/26 

SPECIAL NOTES: 3-4 days/week 

Program to: Instruct students in grades K-6 needing intensive phonetic, structured, and multisensory approach to reading; gather data on effectiveness of intervention; build fluency skills using District curriculum.
*Additional hours or reading programs may be provided based upon enrollment for such programs.

Job Qualifications

NYS Certification as a Special Education or Reading teacher. Prefer training in use of Orton-Gillingham reading approach, willing to implement fluency program or other structured reading programs.
