Overview:
The Lancaster Central School District is seeking an energetic and innovative individual who will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating the continued improvement and development of the K-12 curriculum, instruction, pupil personnel services, and assessment program.
Core Responsibilities:
~Plans, leads, coordinates, and participates in all matters related to curriculum, instruction, assessment, and data analysis as it pertains to student learning & achievement including the LCSD Comprehensive District Education Plan (CDEP).
~ Keeps informed on the latest research, trends, and developments in teaching & student learning/achievement; uses this information constructively for improvements to the academic process.
~ Serves as the District Residency Officer, Supervisor of Attendance, and Census Enumerator (including enrollment projections).
~ Oversees the LCSD Curriculum, Instruction, & PPS budget
~ Serves as one of the District’s Title IX Officers.
~ Attends all meetings of the Board of Education and prepares relevant action items, agenda materials, and presentations/reports as required.
~ Conducts other duties as assigned by the Superintendent.
