BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
The work involves responsibility for repair and maintenance of automotive, construction, and other types of mechanical equipment in a suburban school district.

Job Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age. High school diploma and three (3) years of experience as a journeyman automotive mechanic.

Applicant must possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger (P), School Bus (S), and air brake endorsements.

Applicant must have knowledge of New York State Department of Transportation regulations pertaining to school bus maintenance, inspection, and operating procedures.
