BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: The work involves responsibility for repair and maintenance of automotive, construction, and other types of mechanical equipment in a suburban school district.
High School diploma and three (3) years experience as a journeyman automotive mechanic. Applicant must possess a class “B” Commercial Drivers license with Passenger (P) & (S) and air brake endorsement. Applicant must have knowledge of NYS Department of Transportation regulations with respect to school bus maintenance, inspection and operation procedures.
