Secondary High School Summer School Principal POSTING #3  LANCASTER CENTRAL SCHOOLS INTERNAL POSTING

EFFECTIVE DATE:
March 2026 – August 2026

SPECIAL NOTES:

• Summer school July 13 – August 20 (subject to change)
• Instructional day: 8:00 am-12:00 pm (Monday – Thursday)
• Principal is responsible for start-up and closing duties before and after scheduled summer school.

 

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Responsible for the design, implementation, and supervision of the Lancaster Secondary Summer School program, including administration of Regents exams, creating the master schedule, registration, grade reporting, and hiring of personnel.

 

Job Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS/CERTIFICATION:
Candidates, at a minimum, must have certification as a teacher. Candidates may also be in pursuit of certification as a School Building Leader, School District Administrator or as a School Administrator/Supervisor.
