Special Education Summer School Teachers POSTING #16

12-15 hrs/week   

 

Dates: July 7, 2025 – July 31, 2025   3-4 days/week   BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Program to: Instruct students in grades K-6 needing intensive phonetic, structured, and multisensory approach to reading; gather data on effectiveness of intervention; build fluency skills using District curriculum. *Additional hours or reading programs may be provided based upon enrollment for such programs.

Job Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS/CERTIFICATION: 

NYS Certification as a Special Education or Reading teacher. Prefer training in use of Orton-Gillingham reading approach, willing to implement fluency program or other structured reading programs.
